TheNew Horizons Items have some serious shortcomings which need to be addressed at the next iteration for it to be a guaranteed buy from me, however. Villagers would be the huge one. The character types are too indistinguishable, and we want variations on each and every personality(eg Snooty Villager A is a sass queen who is more likely to create lines concerning how'quaint' the decoration she is alongside is, even while Snooty Villager B is an art-lover who is more inclined to generate a line about the artistic values of this decoration). It's weird to to have two villagers using the specific same character, and it necessarily makes you feel like a third-wheel because you don't think they're as adorable as the other is. Likewise, we just plain need additional lines for each villager type because the replica actually kills the illusion of these animals being your friends. It would be great to have the ability to, say, invite them to your home or tell them to meet you in the memorial in one hour or something.
Another big shortcoming of this series is the lack of thickness with item interactivity. More items will need to be interactive(eg you need to be able to lounge at pools like you can with seats ), and lots of things should be more impressive when utilized (eg that the cannon should produce an actual cannonball instead of a sad puff of smoke, and arcades should have a tiny mini-game attached). This is particularly true of bigger items that take up a great deal of space. For how big it is, it is quite annoying that I can not get into the teacup ride.
Been a huge fan of this show since Wild World, put tens of thousands of hours into Wild World and New Leaf each and adored those matches.
Seems a significant portion of longtime AC lovers feel the same. Sorry if you do not enjoy cheap Animal Crossing Bells hearing anything aside from a 100% favorable opinion of the match.
