The first time it came out, we didn't possess a decade and a half worth of understanding about ways to maximize it. Just wow gold from that the specific same code will not produce anything near the experience. Retail has tons of difficulties, but I do not get the people who believe raiding took skill in vanilla and then got too simple later on.WOW Classic is arguably not vanilla WoW. Lots of things are distinct, regardless of the headline of"no changes". WOW Classic is a Frankenstein of different patches and worth, with a mess of modern changes Blizz needed to slap on to"fix" things they don't enjoy, again despite"no changes".
I've had the identical experience with WOW Classic. I do not even mind that min max culture is something as far as high guilds are concerned, where the mindset has trickled the playerbase of all, I head the area. I was in a meh guild on a meh waiter and conducted my fair share of PUGs, with few exceptions it seemed inevitable, like having to pretend we speedrunning when we're not. It completely takes the pleasure out of WOW Classic, the ratio is simply way, way off using Wow Classic players.
It's just as widespread in retail unfortunately. Constantly running dungeons with folks saying"Here is how they do it MDI!" They do in MDI while needing knowing how much goes into some of the shit. I really doesn't matter how many times you say"No, yanking 6 packs and'simply aoe them' doesn't work" They never understand it requires several cooldowns to handle the damage coming in and going out all. I frankly love that it's a game that is solved. I know what I need to do and that I understand how to do. The fun comes in executing the struggles and getting through the content more efficiently and faster. Do I need to assemble this raid to clean? Hell no, but me with that, and all those fans helps us clear quicker.
Out of curiosity, how popular are fire mages at this stage in WOW Classic? They were hardly utilized in Vanilla until we discovered ignites that were rolling in Naxx. So everyone played with but then, we were paranoid. There is a fire strike shatter build for aoe grinding that's super hot but none of those dps mages have swapped to full fire so much as I know. There was lots of risk to fire initially, particularly in AQ. But the DPS was necessary in Naxx, plus there appeared to be crap and AoE. However, I suspect being smarter and better than 10 years ago, make the change to fire sooner and they could start to push it.
I'm also interested if Blizzard has kept rolling ignites in or should they fixed it like they did later on. As originally thought, iirc, BWL is not actually as bad for fire. There was only such a powerful stigma so everyone was frost to be safe, who perished. But again, if you are min/maxing at 2020, fire can probably be used a whole lot sooner.
What is Blizzard's long term aim with WOW Classic? Are they going to go the Old School Runescape route or are they going to buy classic gold to release updates as they're right now that follow Vanilla? There was a survey recently asking about TBC and how should it happen, by Blizzard. Therefore, in the event that you would like safe bet, put your cash on the choice where they simply release TBC (and probably Wotlk later ) next.
