I'm asking this because I've realized that Barb is granted a flat 10 weapon damage per axe as a perk Dark And Darker Gold, which increases the damage to weapons by around 1-2 levels of rarity. This puts their axe as a starter as good as a Common one in this regard.
I'm pointing this out due to the fact that other increases in perks and abilities don't offer nearly as much of the same benefit, and are typically 5-10% at most (1 which is 2 points for 10). The only other power boost from a skill or perk that's close to that same level is the Rogue's Weakpoint Attack ability, which reduces the opponent's defense by 50% as well.
I understand that the percentage must be higher due to the fact that daggers have less power in the base stat department, but it is true with 50% of the lowest dagger power is approximately 7.5 points. At the moment you get up to even common that increases to 10 or so.
Many other classes, in comparison, are much less or have significantly greater situational benefits, Ranger being the next closest from what I see when stacking Headshot with Ranged Weapons experienced.
The best overall gain that Fighter can make from an advantage is horrible, Combo Attack is just so...unwieldy as I've seen it, it also doesn't play well to Victory Strike, which is only an increase of 20% to just one strike (though many of Fighter's weapons contribute to that percentage as they are smaller, I'll admit).
What are your opinions on the numerical side of things? This is mostly a general an angle of differences in power cheap Dark And Darker Gold, using a basic useless weapon to record.
