Whilst those activities can be OSRS gold slightly relaxing, they are the time you spend doing the same things over and again - time that may or may not be better spent playing with a few shorter, but not less classic video games.
Instead of being one continuous battle, RuneScape is a painstaking conflict of attrition which is extremely long and exhausting, and that never really ends. However, it can be extremely rewarding if you're willing to commit the effort to it, and I was. At least for a year or so.
I've never played any MMORPGs sincethen, which has resulted in my inexplicably shameful loss. The demands of real life are immense and I just don't have time to let them seduce me. As with all games they're among the most time-consuming, having infinite levels to complete and items to get. Many have even died at the end or after of long sessions of RuneScape's older but more popular sibling, World of Warcraft, which could also make it a horror game.
These days, you can generally find me gaming Quake or Half-Life or playing Team Fortress 2 - games that are a force to behold leave a mark and fade quickly. It's wonderful to play games that I can enjoy and then go on to forget about it quickly, instead of worrying about how many pieces of wood are in my inventory or where I'll be fishing during the next session.
However, I do miss some of the grind and longer-term commitment (and frustration) that is RuneScape. With its current version in the form of 'RuneScape 3' (from 2013) with added content and a graphical update, there's a glimmer of hope I may revisit it to see how things are going the same way I would an old acquaintance.
Publisher Jagex revealed earlier in the year that RuneScape would release early access for mobile this summer. Today, anyone will be able to cheap OSRS GP dive into an ongoing MMORPG for free on iOS or Android.
