I know this sub has a fucking heart attack any time double exp is mentioned, but honestly double exp weekends sometimes would put me back into playing the sport than anything.Leagues has been a good deal of fun, but man I'm so bad at playing area locked Ironman lol. Every time I come up with a RS gold plan I hit a roadblock.
Personally I could go as far as to say this is the most fun I have ever had playing the game. I've played through almost every iteration of RS besides classic, played through all the good and bad and that I can still state after 15 years this is the most enjoyable.
The first part of this league is a bit grindy* untill you unlock your 2nd area. Additionally, it requires a decent but of obscure game understanding, and some people don't want to look up the wiki every other minute.
It's something like 15 hours of grinding at the first place before you get to lots of those fun stuff.I think I went in without any kind of plan, the sensation of being a newb again was nice but it's hasn't gone yet...
Mate I am the same. I haven't got the opportunity to play OSRS. I love the concept of Ironman style, but if you can play as little as I can, you just don't do anything done ever. I can get loads done at the time I can perform, experience a bit of how Ironman mode is and just enjoy the game for what I used to love it , rather than the grind it is these days with minimal time.
I'd love to get a League of this style where you might slowly unlock the whole map through jobs rather than only set areas. The tasks allow me to do things I wouldn't normally do.
The problem with osrs and leagues imo is the same for league of legends and urf. It feels fantastic to play, but you necessarily become fulfilled or burned out and stop. Personally, I'm grateful Trailblazer exists. It is buy osrs gold paypal perfect for someone like me that doesn't play the base game anymore, but still enjoys getting sucked into OSRS every now and then.
