"The Saga Continues" this year, the narrative is comprised of lengthy text boxes filled with dry, sleep-inducing conversation NBA 2K Coins. Earning enough in-game tokens for fresh packs is a laborious process and even though it's nevertheless a deep game mode for those who prefer to play competitively, we want there was not such a crude emphasis on microtransactions.

2K19's package is rounded out by two awesome features, Blacktop and 2KU. Blacktop lets you showcase your street ball skills in 1v1 through 5v5 matchups, whereas 2KU teaches you the ins and outs of the game's controls and attributes. Neither are new additions to the show, but in case you have not played 2K in a few decades, they are cool and important modes.

Once again, NBA2K's most up-to-date installment turns out to be an excellent basketball sim, bringing more refined, realistic gameplay, and balances to offense and defense. The MyCareer narrative is significantly enhanced, and the progression system feels more forgiving than previous iterations. While the remainder of the package mostly mirrors what we've seen previously, overall, these marked improvements to the show make it difficult to maintain it against 2K19.
