This is why, upon first looking at Mel Kiper's Mut 23 coins latest mock draft, I was stunned, because it so significantly differed from the standard expectations of this classBut the more I think about it, and contemplate it the more it appears to me that at least one or two picks could result in this manner.

It is worth looking at the entire mockup to discover how it turns out, but I want to focus on the handful of aspects that have me stunned by Kiper's most recent projection.

Wilson is very much in the mold of the kind of receivers that teams are seeking today. He's a tremendous skill after the catch. He has the ability to get past defenders to pick more yards. There isn't a perfect comparison however, imagine him more in that Cooper Kupp mold. Wilson will make a quarterback look better, he'll catch some throws downfield, but his true talent lies in placing the ball in his hands and have him make plays.

London is completely different. He's a huge-bodied receiver, with a mammoth catch radius that is more of a hybrid tightend. His skills are comparable to that of Kyle Pitts or a Mike Evans and is very appealing to teams. These are players who can pick up a ball with a questionable jump and turn into a huge game, simply because they can get passes that defensive backs cannot reach.

This makes sense for the Jets and the Jets, who Kiper have taken over London at No. 4. It's a bit early for me, but he is a receiver that can assist Zach Wilson immensely, who's always had a propensity throwing 50/50 ball. He'll even ask his receiver to play.Bet on 2022's Madden NFL 23 Draft with DraftKings' sportsbook No. 2: Carolina mistakes ... A LOT!

There's absolutely anything wrong in Travon Walker. Hell, I had him as a No. 12 in my previous mockup to the Vikings and I think he'd be an amazing selection. If the Panthers pick him with the sixth pick it would be an incredible mistake.

It's not a secret that this team will need help in rushing the pass with regard to Brian Burns, they need plenty of everything, but this pick needs to be an offensive lineman, or even a quarterback if Carolina gets smitten. There's no room for anything else. This is especially true when Mississippi State's offensive lineman Charles Cross still on the board that is a hand-meets-glove selection.

A decision to select Walker is a disaster for Carolina's reconstruction, since it won't provide any assistance in their struggling offense that is the central point of the story here.No cornerback on the list of top 10... surely? I certainly see some argument about Derek Stingley Jr. and Sauce Gardner about who will be the top corner this draft, but there's no way in which I could see either of cheap madden 23 coins them falling out of the top 10.
