The MTX is the way you use it. If you simply use your everyday keys and use it as an "snack" to indulge in (but not excessively) it's not a problem in any way. You don't have to participate If RuneScape Gold you're not a fan of that mindset.
Pvm - The combat system of RS3 allows for a more intricate and technical element that can be added on to the bosses. The limits are not based on the amount of damage that can be protected through prayer flicking or manipulating ticks. It's about the real skill of ability rotations and the best way to increase DPS while mastering boss mechanics simultaneously. In this manner, I'm quite happy with the way Jagex has implemented EOC to aid in the process of advancing boss interactions to be more engaging and challenging.
PvP is an extremely difficult topic to discuss because this is the point where EOC's EOC combat system breaks down completely. In a predator vs . prey scenario, the prey in EOC is able to achieve over 90 percent success, even when using equipment that isn't up to par. Even though there's a lot to break down to answer this, the simple answer is that DPS is just too high and one player can kill another before the other can typically even react, especially one skilled with stuns/prayer dropping/teleblocking. The bottom line is that PvP is absolutely in a rut on EOC. The sole reason why people venture out into the wilds now is to make money from PvM content using equipment that isn't designed to be worth the effort.
Questing - although I've never been a fan of quests I must give the game to Jagex. They've really improved their lore and the quality of their content when it comes to creating new quests.
QOL QOL Jagex has taken a leap to extreme lengths in RS3 to accommodate "afkability". This allows players to have an unpretentious and less gruelling mentality, which allows them to achieve their goals without having to keep clicking. This is a good thing for combat games like Slayer, low-level pvm and some other skilling. Furthermore, Jagex has made a number of more expensive options that are more intense, that ultimately result in an opportunity cost. Quality vs Quantity. This allows players to choose the way you'd like to train.
Applications: Similar to OSB as well as Runelite, Alt1 is the most well-known (and secure) application that can be an extremely useful add-on for your standard RS3 client.
At the same time, I've also played both games a lot and find myself returning to RS3 every time. While OSRS is nostalgic and has its oddities, they fade quite quickly to me. RS3 is not just the flexibility to allow me to play as I want and how I want, but also an even more welcoming community. It's not perfect everywhere however, in those places it's great, you can be certain to be an enthusiastic player and play and enjoy the cheap rs gold osrs game.
We're glad you're enjoying RS3.
