Old School Runescape is more populated than Runescape 3, runescape 2007 gold has images whereas Runescape 3 has significantly more advanced images. Technically Runescape 3 has more content but OSRS is more of a sandbox while Runescape 3 still is, it has more linearity to it is content that's provided. Both matches have communities as well. OSRS has no microtransactions either. I'd say study info on RuneScape matches before you make your decision on which to commit too. OSRS is generally hailed as the game that was much better and more popular, but that is the collective private opinions of everyone. You may really enjoy RS3 better but you also do you. I recommend OSRS myself, but it's your responsibility to see not or if you prefer RS3 more.
OSRS is actually an incredible game. There is a ton of content, the fighting is honestly shockingly in depth at high levels for how simple RuneScape match looks/seems on it's face. It's also nice because although gold is important and you can directly pay for it, the huge majority of the things you are going to be working towards is essentially just getting better in RuneScape downloading and game content via doing quests/beating bosses/etc. Your account has a lot of little checkboxes that all offer perks, and about doing them, you need to go. Quests offer a tangible reward beyond XP. There's also a lot of minigames that are really interesting/strange which go beyond combat or just plain questing. RS3 tries to mimic some of it, but I believe by modernizing it dropped a lot of the charm of it, and it leans EXTREMELY intensely to the money store.
Osrs has really crappy combat, shitty graphics and fills individuals with nostalgia. RS3 has better graphics (but still seems bad), better and more complex combat should you arnt biased against it, much better and much more narrative content, but has microtransactions everywere (except you are entering a match where people have maxed level/gear decades and years past anyways, so having the ability to get stuff is somewhat irrelevant). Its easier to level generally (osrs lacks content later on), but theres more to do with those amounts, and greater caps to the mostpart that arnt easier to get to.
I don't understand why you are getting downvoted (I really do ), but yeah the pictures were cool back in'06. The combat needs more to click on compared to anyplace else on the monitor and is crap. I loved RS2, do not get me wrong, however there are better MMO's compared to"Arithmetic Simulator". The problem is that people dont accept RuneScape game. Nostalgia more than everything that they downvote. RuneScape game looks like complete dogshit, which can be somewhat of a pity. Even WoW upgraded its looks. But yeah, RuneScape game was great back in the afternoon, it doesnt hold up.
Think of how WoW currently is. RS3 is exactly what Runescape has evolved in to over the last few years and is at its heart, the same match, but entirely overhauled. Combat went from easy, I swing and do harm, to you swing and do damage abilities and full action pub skills. They also included a lot of MTX which makes RuneScape game too simple and requires a lot of the soul and sense of achievement out. OSRS is RuneScape game was using a ton of QOL additions and material, in 2007. It can be played just like a simpleton or you'll be able to go complete nerd and minute max your efficiency. You are able to do something like click a tree and have your personality chop logs to increase your woodcutting degree at the same time you pay little to no attention.
Or you may do something engaging with their distinct mechanics like struggle bosses for hours attempting to get a desired thing with a rare drop opportunity. You can spend hours and hours on that game to buy rs3 gold and never come close to running out of things to do. I personally have over hours on my character and just have 1 maxed out skill to show for this. Actually it thats skills and requires the normal player 2300-2500 hours to max out every ability level. This doesnt include all the item hunting minigames etc in RuneScape game. Proceed for OSRS if you enjoy having a sense of accomplishment and grinding. And of course OSRS is working on cellular phones. RS3 would not be recommended by me.
