If Andrew is interested in making T-shirts (he has a good grasp of Photoshop and graphic design, and is an "artsy" person), and if you'd be willing to pay a small amount, I'm just curious who might be interested in a T-shirt.
While I understand why some people might not want one, I am willing to be open to the possibility that you could be. It's just for novelty. Andrew does not know that I have signed him up. Again, this is just an experiment. This is more of an "what's the matter with this thread; are they any good?" This thread is more of a "what's up with this? Are they any good?" type of thread. I ought to have organized this more before I posted this. It's ok!
Although I'm not sure whether this is the right place to ask questions, I believe it should be posted here. There are no shops since the introduction GE. A few shops do have some value: notably those that sell unusual items and don't end on the GE or offer bulk-priced items for a low price, such as feathers, runes or other items that are exotic.
There are also stores that offer untradeable or unique items like Faruq’s gaming tools, Xuan's clothing store, and Thessalia's clothing store. The majority of shops that sell everyday items for gilinorians are not used and unneeded. Today, no one will ever sell jewellery or gems to the jeweler, or go to taverly in order to purchase a mithril2h sword.
Which updates would you suggest to enhance the performance of stores? What would your suggestion do to improve the value of shops and what are your thoughts on other suggestions on this thread. In particular, I believe that stores selling clothing could function better if they all functioned like Thessalia's. This means that all clothing that is that isn't classified as Thessalia could be included in standard clothing. This would increase traffic to the stores since the clothes that are standard are extremely loved and appreciated by a lot of people and top-quality clothing may hinder armour or other valuable things.
Good morning, everyone! Tas here, your friend, the friendly here-once, and then gone again RSOF lurker. Anyways! Here's how I got scammed and how to stay clear of it. It's something that I haven't had before. However, I took the whole thing into my head and took the time to warn others.
Beware of junk collectors who charge high rates for excessive amounts of junk. "Need 300 steel pickaxes! I'll buy them for 10k each!" This occurred at ge. The user purchased one or two pickaxes made from steel for me. I paid 10k for each.
Thinking a lot faster than I ought to and then I rushed to my ge and tried to purchase a few hundred more. They didn't purchase. And then didn't buy some more. So I had already raised the cost to 2k, 3k and even 4k to purchase. This was to ensure I received the insanely high amount of profit given to me by the user (10k per ad). I need 300 pickaxes!")
I ended up spending several mills on 100 or 200 pickaxes. These pickaxes were mysteriously bought for that exact amount. When I returned to the user at ge, he logged. What happened? He made/bought himself pickaxes then put out a "Sell" offer for a ridiculously high price that no one (save, maybe, for desperate lvl 1 cluers?) Then he announced that he was desperate to purchase pickaxes for more than the price he had offered the pickaxes for.
When I purchased his cheaper pickaxes, the notice from GE was displayed that said the offer was over, and then he logged out. The name of the account was lots of gibberish, as I mentioned. So, I think the funds will be switched to a main. tongue.png
You should be cautious of people who are posting similar messages such as "OMFG need to buy naooo", especially when they require a large amount of an item that you wouldn't normally be able to purchase. It's possible to feel a bit foolish and alone at the GE. Cheers!
It's been two months since the Squeal of Fortune was released. We've been trying to answer some of the players' concerns, dispel misconceptions about the popularity of the update, explain the motivations behind it, and most importantly the reason it's here to stay.
In the beginning, I'd like to thank everyone who provided feedback regarding the Squeal of Fortune updates. Squeal of Fortune was created to be a light-hearted and fun feature for RuneScape. It offers players a new way of claiming free rewards each day that they sign into RuneScape. As with many other updates, members receive additional benefits like an increase in free spins each day and we have changed it since its the launch date to offer all of our players more opportunities to earn Squeal Spins.
We took great care, as with all content that we include to RuneScape to ensure that the Squeal of Fortune would enhance and not diminish what makes this game so special for millions of players every single day. We truly believe that we succeeded in both of these priorities.
We know that some people are not happy with Squeal-of-Foot. While we try everything we can to make the experience enjoyable for all players because of the huge size of our community, it's impossible to please everyone all the time, despite our best efforts.
We have always believed that doing the right thing for long-term game health has been our core philosophy. Long-standing players know this because I have always followed this principle regardless of the initial discomfort. One instance is the Bot nuke. I can confidently state that we've always been rewarded for doing the right thing over the long run. Today, the reality is that not only is the game getting better every year, but also our community.
However, the feedback we get regarding our updates as well as how you and the community engage with them is crucial to us. We have taken note of your comments in the forums and have listened to them. We listened to your concerns and made some changes to Squeal of Fortune. This included new ways to earn additional spins in the form of rewards, as well as additional payment protection on all purchases in the game.
We, the team, and I are both saddened by the reluctance of some players to purchase additional spins. However, the majority of our players love the Squeal of Fortune every day and more than 70 percent of our members who are free use the Squeal of Fortune every day which makes it among the most popular content releases to date. It is also a favorite for the majority of our players who continue to enjoy the many ways to earn additional spins for no cost.
The system's design means that players are not worried about gambling, RWT'ing or making use of the Squeal of Fortune for their own financial gain. We have seen many players taking advantage of the new rewards, and others opting to purchase additional spins. But, we haven't witnessed any abuse of this system, despite constantly watching the system.
Looking ahead, RuneScape continues to grow more than ever, in terms of both engaging content and the scale of the community. The Runespan, which was launched on Monday, and has seen more than 90% improvements in framerates of games for a significant part of the community, should make it clear that we are just getting ready to launch our largest and most exciting year of content yet.
Naturally, you will all learn more about it in the near future. So keep coming for updates. We appreciate your reading and hope you have lots of enjoyment.
