While both the Horde and the Alliance enjoyed the triumph of WOW WOTLK Classic Gold the Cataclysm and the dissolution of Azeroth's empire, conflict between the two factions had been in the making for a time. Thrall had been committed to establishing a permanent Peace with Alliance however Garrosh Hellscream, the new Warchief of the Horde had no desire for agreement.

He was not afraid of using underhanded methods to attain victory including an attack on the Eye of Eternity, a stolen item that could serve as a deadly Weapon of Mass Destruction.

It was the Alliance City of Theramore, not too far from Orgrimmar is under the direction by Lady Jaina Proudmoore. Despite the fact that she was not planning on opposing or threatening the Horde, Garrosh saw its proximity as a significant threat.

Hellscream employed the Eye of Eternity as an arcane bomb that he dropped directly on Theramore which turned it and all those who were inside, to dust. Peace Between World of Warcraft's Alliance and Horde no longer a possibility due to Garrosh's relentless desire to dominate, Azeroth was once again caught in the middle of chaos.

The two parties were engaged in a war that was a complete saga which was affecting the Horde mostly from within. Garrosh's rule was not unchallenged in the eyes of his followers, however, despite the fact that the previous chieftain of the tauren, Cairne Bloodhoof, had even sacrificed his life to try to buy WOTLK Gold end the reign of Hellscream, the Warchief's power was unstoppable and never-ending. The horizon grew darker with his shadow, Hellscream's goals and those who wished peace had to come up with a solution to stop him or watch the world they love be thrown into chaos.
