People today call it ezscape although not everyone has the patience and the opportunity to grind out like the fantastic ol' days.OSRS gold just feels right. It feels just like true Runescape. I'm not gonna review bomb the game definitely but with that stated the mining/smithing rework did create playing iron man a ton funner for me, making my own lvl 90 armor was pretty cool, Heck I would play that as a single player match even.
Analytics must have guessed the extra players and familiarity caused by heading to Steam would offset the loss from Valve's cut, after a certain point anyways.
I doubt it. Mtx sold through Steam is significantly less money for Jagex following Steams cut. Reading that RuneScape is going to Steam really sounds just like a meme to me.
I can't whole heatedly agree with this. The Jagex back afterward killed that match using an obscene amount of microtransactions and just general poor decisions. We were forced to quit, and later start over. This left a bad taste in the mouths of several people. If we want to voice our views on a shitty pay-to-win game, you can not stop us, and you are likely to need to be more convincing if You Would like to talk us out of it
In case you've got legitimate gripes about it and really think it's a poor game, go ahead and leave a negative review--but make sure that you actually REVIEW it and at least explain WHY you think that way.
Steam might be the thing which keeps RS3 alive for those that enjoy it, and there are a whole lot of individuals around who like RS3. Review bombing it is just idiotic, without RS3 we would not have OSRS today and without RS3 at the upcoming OSRS would require improved revenue which would bring MTX to the fore.
RS3 still actually makes more money than Buy Runescape gold. Without RS3 Jagex loses a whole lot of revenue and has to make it up somewhere or else it simply collapses.
Then you are like me, and we are going to ignore it like we've been ignoring RS3 for ages. No need to flame the game when Jagex gave us exactly what we wanted, that was OSRS.
