This time of year, 2K Games' basketball video game "NBA 2K" announces the release date, pricing, and several cover character variants for the latest series "NBA 2K22." A series of new works were released as part of the NBA's 75th anniversary celebrations, attracting both series aficionados and NBA audiences.
NBA 2K22 will continue to be updated on virtually all current gaming platforms, including PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC, as well as PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. Currently, the game is available in three different versions. They are the usual version for previous generation platforms as well as PC. Lastly, it offers a cross-generation digital bundle that includes both the previous and new generation game digital standard versions, plus an exclusive game-only edition. The NBA 75th Anniversary Edition of "NBA 2K22" was available on all of the platforms listed above.
It features the hero of both the Standard and Cross-Generation Digital Bundle Editions, who has already been named to the All-Star Western Conference starting lineup for the 2019-20 and 2020-21 seasons. Luka Dong is a basketball player for the Dallas Mavericks. The NBA 75th Anniversary Edition cover stars chose Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Dirk Nowitzki, and Kevin Durant to represent the three most prominent players in league history.
Those familiar with the "NBA 2K" series of games know that the cover stars for each version have always been a topic of debate. This is an indication of NBA officials and players' enthusiasm for the star's previous season's performance as well as their expectations for the current season's performance.
If you look back at the cover designs for every NBA 2K game, you will realize that this design concept has always existed. Since then, Allen Iverson (Allen Iverson) has been the cover hero of every NBA 2K MT game released except the first five, from 2K1 through 2K4. The custom of changing the cover star every year is as old as time.
When the game was first released, the majority of the stars chosen were from the previous season. Their previous season's performance was impressive enough that 2K officials would contact them about teaming with cover stars for the upcoming season. In the 2008 NBA Finals, the "Celtics Big Three" of Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen, and Paul Pierce helped the Boston Celtics defeat the Los Angeles Lakers and win the championship. NBA superstar Kobe Bryant fronts 2K10's cover. He helped the Lakers beat the Magic and the Celtics. He repeated as league champion and became a legend.
